Stop the use of child soldiers !!!

The rights to “Soldado de papel” will be handed over to the “Spanish coalition to stop the use of child soldiers”.
Currently, hundreds of thousands of young girls and boys are recruited worldwide for armed groups. The majority of them are taken and forced to serve, to work as spies or sexual slaves, and to die. In “Soldado de papel,” David Bisbal expressly speaks out against the use of minors in all armed conflicts. Deeply aware of this grave violation of human rights, the artist himself composed the song months ago and included it on his new album “Premonición.”Royalties from the rights to the song “Soldado de papel” will be donated to the Spanish Coalition to stop the use of Child Soldiers and will be used to help fund reports, awareness campaigns and reinsertion programs in countries of conflict. The Spanish Coalition was created in February of 2003 and comprises 2 Non-Government Organizations (NGO’s) that work in coordination with the International Coalition, based in London, to end the use of child soldiers in armed conflicts, end the forced draft of minors under age 18 and assure that countries in conflict or post-conflict have working programs to demobilize and rehabilitate former child soldiers. This weekend the music video for “Soldado de papel” was filmed in Barcelona. The song’s message speaks out against violence and the manipulation that child soldiers suffer. “The fact that there are wars is terrible, but that children are robbed of their childhood to be put on the front lines of battle, that’s the worst thing in the world,” said the song’s author. At the filming David Bisbal cut his hair.”Not just me, all the children, we’ve all cut our hair, it’s a very symbolic gesture.” David Bisbal wants to spread awareness, knowledge, and sensitivity in society regarding this little-known problem.VOY / Agencies
